  • 2 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken breast
  • 1 cup cooked crumbled Italian sausage
  • 1 cup peeled cooked shrimp

Instructions

Melt the margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Sauté the chopped onion, celery, and green pepper until softened, approximately 5 minutes.
