  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 4 large eggs, separated

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped semisweet chocolate or chocolate shavings for garnish
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let it cool completely.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, and softened butter until smooth.

Beat in the egg yolks one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.

Just before serving, sprinkle the top with chopped semisweet chocolate or chocolate shavings and dust with powdered sugar.

Slice and serve chilled.
