  • For the watermelon:

  • For the balsamic glaze:

Instructions

Thread a watermelon cube onto a wooden skewer, leaving a small space at the top.

Next, add a small spoonful of crumbled feta cheese on top of the watermelon.

Sprinkle a few chopped fresh mint leaves over the feta cheese.

Drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over the mint leaves.

Repeat the layers one more time, starting with the watermelon, then the feta cheese, and finally another sprinkle of fresh mint.

Drizzle the top of each skewer with a small amount of balsamic glaze.

Gently place the finished skewers on a serving platter or individual plates.

Repeat the process until all the ingredients have been used, creating a total of 5 servings.

Notes

Use a ripe but firm watermelon for the best results. You can prepare the watermelon cubes and crumbled feta cheese ahead of time, but it’s best to assemble the skewers just before serving to prevent the watermelon from getting soggy.

Chopped fresh mint leaves can be replaced with basil leaves if you prefer a different flavor profile.
