  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 7 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes


Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Thread chicken, pineapple, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and onion onto the bamboo skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, olive oil, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Brush the mixture evenly onto both sides of the skewers.

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
